NrityaDiksha is where your kid can dance his/her heart out and explore different forms of dance. Here, we are open to little dancers who are aged over 6 years. We provide classes for dance forms including Classical, Semi-classical, Bharatnatyam, and Kathak.
Smt. Priya Venkataraman, the artistic director, launched what was originally known as "Kalakriti" in 1992 (in Illinois). The goal of NrityaDiksha has always been to provide its students with outstanding Bharatanatyam classes. Priya has been instructing kids in Delhi and Gurugram since 2003.
Now, Nrityadiksha has students in both India and the US. Senior Bharatanatyam Gurus Smt. Bragha Bessell and Shri A. Lakshmanaswamy have presented workshops at Nrityadiksha in the past, and many of the school's senior students have come on to instruct this art form to aspiring dancers all over the world.
